The Transportation Security Administration is once again reminding travelers not to put their pets through the X-ray scanners at airports.
A photo shared by TSA Northeast spokesperson Lisa Farbstein shows an X-ray image of a cat in its travel case at Norfolk International Airport in Virginia on Friday.
“Attention pet owners: Please do not send your pet through the X-ray unit. Cat-astrophic mistake,” Farbstein tweeted alongside the photo.
Travelers are allowed to bring small pets in travel cases on their flight after checking with the airline. The TSA says passengers should remove their pet from its case before putting the case through the X-ray machine.
