Florida Ranks as the Worst State for Commuters

Florida may be the go-to state for enjoying plentiful gorgeous beaches or visiting some of the nation’s best theme parks, but it can be a literal nightmare for commuters.
Florida traffic is so bad that it has been ranked the worst state for commuters.
According to the Bradenton Herald, HireAHelper researchers analyzed the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey to determine which metro areas were the worst for commuters.
Unfortunately for Florida, the Sunshine State registered a 100.0 composite score placing it as the number one overall state for the worst traffic.
The Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford metro area was number one for the worst large metro areas for commuters, beating out other traffic-ridden metro areas, including Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.
According to HireAHelper, the top ten worst large metro areas for commuters are:
