Subway Elevates Menu with New Sandwich Offerings

Subway is offering its customers a more elevated sandwich choice, courtesy of its new Deli Heroes.
The piled-high Deli Heroes are now available in all Subway locations across the USA, featuring freshly sliced meats.
The addition of freshly sliced meats…gives our guests a better sandwich – raising the bar even higher for the brand that defined fresh,” Trevor Haynes, president of Subway, North America, said in a press release.
Calling the addition one of the “most complex changes the brand has ever made,” Subway revealed deli meat slicers were “gifted” to all Subway franchises at a cost of more than $80 million, Food Network reports.
The new Deli Heroes come with double cheese and are all served on Subway’s freshly baked Artisan Italian bread. The line-up includes Titan Turkey, Grand Slam Ham, The Beast, and Garlic Roast Beef.
Subway will give its customers a first taste by offering up to one million free six-inch Deli Heroes subs on Tuesday, July 11th, between 10 a.m. and noon local time – at participating restaurants nationwide.
